Questions
How is a signup counted as mine?
When someone opens your link, their browser keeps it for 60 days. If they make an account in that time, it counts for you, once and for good. If they open several partners' links, the last one counts.
What exactly do I earn?
30 % of what the customer pays without VAT, for every payment in the 12 months after their first one: plan, extra accounts, users, storage and AI levels. One-off AI credit purchases don't count.
When and how am I paid?
Each commission waits 30 days in case a payment is refunded. After that it's yours, and early each month we pay out everything that's ready, from €50, by bank transfer (SEPA) or PayPal.
Do I need a Selfpost account?
Yes, your numbers and payout details live in your account. If you don't have one yet, the approval email lets you make one.
Do I have to mark my posts as advertising?
Yes. Posts with your link are advertising, so mark them clearly, for example with “Ad”, #ad or the platform's paid-partnership label.
Can I run ads with my link?
You can promote your own content. Please don't bid on “Selfpost” as a search keyword or pretend to speak for Selfpost.
What about taxes?
Commissions are paid as gross amounts. You're responsible for declaring them; if you invoice as a VAT-registered business, add your VAT ID in the partner area.
