Image resizer for Instagram, TikTok & YouTube

Instagram keeps photos at up to 1080 pixels wide, in any shape from 4:5 portrait to 1.91:1 landscape. That makes 1080 × 1350 for portrait, 1080 × 1080 for square and 1080 × 566 for landscape. Portrait is the tallest, so it fills the most of the screen in the feed.

1080 × 1920 pixels, in 9:16. Meta recommends 9:16 for Reels and their covers to avoid cropping or blank space, and stories fill the same tall screen.

Use 16:9 and at least 640 pixels wide; 1280 × 720 is a sharp, light choice. A thumbnail added from a phone can be up to 2 MB, from a computer up to 50 MB. Saving as JPEG keeps the file small.

Upload 2560 × 1440 pixels (at least 2048 × 1152) and up to 6 MB. TVs show the whole picture and smaller screens crop it, so keep text and logos inside the safe area this tool draws, which YouTube gives as 1235 × 338 pixels at the minimum size.

TikTok takes photos as JPEG or WebP, up to 1080p and 20 MB each. A full-screen photo in 9:16 is 1080 × 1920 pixels, the same size works as a video cover.

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which most browsers other than Safari can't open yet. Open this page in Safari, or export the photo as JPEG first. To save JPEG from now on, set your iPhone to Settings, Camera, Formats, Most Compatible.

No. Everything happens in your browser, from opening the photo to saving the new file. Nothing is sent anywhere, and the tool adds no watermark.
