Accessibility information

Selfpost is a browser-based service for preparing media, configuring separate Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube settings, scheduling publication, managing teams, receiving status, and reviewing available analytics. Registration, identification, security, plan selection, and payment are performed through the web interface and Stripe-hosted checkout.

The service is designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. It uses semantic headings and landmarks, labelled controls, keyboard-operable navigation and dialogs, visible focus, text alternatives for meaningful images, status announcements, responsive reflow, sufficient text and control contrast, and reduced-motion support.

WCAG 2.2 Level AA is used as an engineering target. This is a useful benchmark, but it does not by itself establish legal conformity with every functional requirement of the Austrian Accessibility Act or EN 301 549.

Current status: Selfpost is partially conformant with the WCAG 2.2 Level AA engineering target. The August 2026 source review corrected global low-contrast tokens, strengthened focus indicators, and added a skip link to authenticated pages.

Known remaining limitations are: analytics charts do not yet provide a complete equivalent data table or summary for every visual; some very dense controls may not yet meet the preferred target size in every responsive layout; and third-party social-platform and Stripe pages are outside THK-Media's technical control.

Manual assistive-technology testing is ongoing; findings are folded into each release. The applicability of the BaFG microenterprise exemption is kept under review. Full conformity is not claimed.

The service is intended for current standards-based browsers with keyboard access, browser zoom and reflow, and common screen readers. No accessibility overlay is required. User theme and animation preferences can be changed in the interface and system reduced-motion and colour-scheme preferences are respected.

Content creators remain responsible for accessible captions, text alternatives, audio description, colour use, and other accessibility of the media they publish through Selfpost.
